A Healthy Lifestyle means a state of complete emotional and physical well-being. 

In the United States, we spend an estimated $3.2 trillion, per year, on healthcare costs.  Despite this,  Americans die at a younger age and experience more illness and injury than people in other developed countries.  Why?  We're overweight (40% are considered obese).  We don't exercise (only 3% of us exercise regularly).  Televisions, computers, phones, video games, etc have replaced our activities of past generations.  We live on a diet of processed foods.

Gitn Fit means pursuing a Healthy Lifestyle to decrease the risk of disease and to help reduce the risk of an injury or health issue.  Gitn Fit can help protect and develop endurance, heart function, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition.  Physical and mental health are linked. If chronic illness affects a person's ability to enjoy their life, this may lead to depression, stress,  money problems etc.  We need to focus on a complete Healthy Lifestyle.  Mind, Body and Spirit.
